From ₱60 Million Guarantee to ₱97.6 Million: APPT Manila Shows the Strength of Asian Poker
The numbers coming out of APPT Manila 2026 tell a bigger story than just another tournament record.
The festival’s flagship ₱80,000 APPT Main Event was advertised with a ₱60 million guaranteed prize pool. After four starting flights, however, the tournament generated ₱97,666,560, almost ₱38 million above the guarantee.
The 1,413-entry field also represents another major increase for APPT Manila.
The 2024 Main Event attracted 1,304 entries, while the 2025 edition recorded 1,246. The 2026 field has now surpassed both editions.
The growth is particularly significant because APPT Manila continues to attract a mixture of local Filipino players and international competitors.
The current top 10 leaderboard includes players from South Korea, the Philippines, China, Australia, Japan and Greece, demonstrating the international character of the festival.
The festival itself has featured major events across a wide range of buy-ins, including the ₱10,000 Okada Kickoff, ₱30,000 APPT National, ₱50,000 PokerStars Red Dragon, ₱60,000 APPT Open and ₱300,000 Super High Roller.
The Main Event record therefore comes at the end of a festival that has already produced strong participation across multiple tournament levels.
For Manila and the wider Asian poker market, the result is another indication of the continuing demand for large-scale live poker festivals in the region.
