APPT Manila 2026 Opens at Okada Manila With ₱132 Million in Guarantees
The 2026 edition of the Asia Pacific Poker Tour (APPT) Manila officially got underway on July 28 at Cove Manila inside Okada Manila, beginning a 14-day festival that runs through August 10.
This year’s series carries more than ₱132 million in guaranteed prize pools, placing it among the largest live poker festivals scheduled in the Philippines this year. The festival features a broad range of tournaments, from affordable qualifiers and side events to high rollers and the ₱80,000 APPT Main Event.
The opening day immediately offered several routes into the bigger events. Players could enter the APPT Manila Super Qualifier, which awarded seats to the festival’s major tournaments, while the ₱20,000 Ultrastack provided a deep-stack alternative.
The first major tournament on the schedule was the ₱10,000 Okada Kickoff, carrying a ₱2 million guarantee. Three starting flights were scheduled on opening day, giving players multiple opportunities to enter the event.
The schedule demonstrated the structure of the festival from the outset: APPT Manila was designed to accommodate recreational players, regular tournament grinders and high-stakes professionals within the same series.
With the Main Event still more than a week away, the opening day represented only the beginning of what is expected to be a busy run at Okada Manila.
