APPT Manila Main Event Breaks Records With 1,413 Entries and ₱97.6 Million Prize Pool
The APPT Manila 2026 Main Event has officially rewritten the tournament’s history books.
After four starting flights at Cove Manila, Okada Manila, the ₱80,000 buy-in Main Event attracted an extraordinary 1,413 entries, creating a final prize pool of ₱97,666,560. The figure comfortably surpassed the original ₱60 million guarantee by more than ₱37 million.
The turnout also makes this the largest APPT Manila Main Event ever recorded, surpassing the 2024 field of 1,304 entries and the 2025 field of 1,246 entries.
The field was built across four flights:
- Day 1A: 300 entries
- Day 1B: 348 entries
- Day 1C: 527 entries
- Day 1D Turbo: 238 entries
From those 1,413 entries, only 269 players survived to Day 2.
The eventual champion is set to receive ₱15,530,000, while every player reaching the money will secure at least ₱128,000.
With the record already established, the focus now shifts to the remaining players battling for the biggest APPT Manila title of 2026.
