APT Incheon Enters Its Final Stretch With Major Events Still Ahead
Although the Main Event is currently grabbing most of the attention, APT Incheon 2026 is far from finished.
The official schedule shows several marquee events still to come as the festival moves toward its August 16 conclusion.
The ₩3 million Zodiac Classic, sponsored by Natural8, begins August 13 with a ₩500 million guarantee.
The tournament is one of the festival’s major remaining events and also awards the champion a seat to the APT Championship in Taipei.
The Mini Main Event begins August 14 with a ₩900,000 buy-in and ₩400 million guarantee.
The APT High Roller, meanwhile, begins August 15 with a ₩5 million buy-in and a ₩500 million guarantee.
That means the festival’s final weekend could produce another wave of major results even after the Main Event reaches its conclusion.
The final day on August 16 also includes the Ultra Stack final day, APT High Roller final day and a series of additional tournaments.
APT Incheon therefore enters its closing stages with plenty still to play for.
The Main Event may be the headline, but the final weekend could determine several more champions.
A total of 134 players return for the Final Day, with Japan’s Kosaku Akashi leading the field. 55 players will cash, with the champion taking home the KRW 199,966,000 (~USD 143K) top prize, plus a USD 10K ticket to the Main Event.
