Danny Tang Completes a Unique APT Trophy Collection

Hong Kong’s Danny Tang achieved something extraordinary at APT Incheon 2026.

By winning the ₩3 million High Roller 9-Game, Tang became the first player to complete the full set of Silver, Gold and Black 2D Lion Silhouette trophies.

Tang defeated Japan’s Takuro Yamashiki heads-up to win KRW 27,818,000, approximately US$19,729.

The event attracted 29 entries and paid five positions.

Tang’s victory gave him his fifth APT title.

His previous titles included victories at APT Jeju and APT Taipei, including the Superstar Challenge and Omaha Masters.

The significance of the Incheon victory therefore went beyond the prize money.

Tang now owns all three versions of the 2D Stealth Lion trophy.

His next challenge is even bigger.

He has said that he would like to complete the Mega Lion collection, which requires winning the APT Main Event.

That trophy remains missing from his collection.

Tang’s performance in Incheon therefore adds another piece to one of the most interesting trophy collections on the APT.

The Hong Kong professional has already conquered the smaller Lion series.

Now the Main Event trophy is the obvious target.
