APT Incheon Continues to Prove That Mixed Games Have a Place in Modern Poker

APT Incheon is not simply another No-Limit Hold’em festival.

One of the defining characteristics of the 2026 series has been its enormous selection of mixed games and unusual poker variants.

The official schedule includes games such as Dealer’s Choice, Triple Draw, Omaha Hi-Lo, Seven Card Stud, Razz and several creative formats rarely seen on conventional tournament schedules.

Among the most unusual events is “Cry Me a River,” a triple-board Omaha Hi-Lo format in which the lowest river card eliminates its respective board.

The festival has also featured Super Hold’em, where players receive three hole cards and can use different numbers of them, as well as R.O.S.E.T., combining several poker disciplines.

Ari Engel, one of the game’s most accomplished mixed-game players, described the schedule as one of the most creative he has encountered.

He specifically highlighted the opportunity to play several No-Limit and mixed-game tournaments on the same day.

This variety is becoming part of the APT identity.

Rather than building the entire festival around Texas Hold’em, APT Incheon is giving specialists in less common poker variants a reason to travel.

For players who enjoy something different from standard Hold’em, Paradise City has become one of the busiest poker rooms in Asia this week.
