APT Incheon Opens the Door to a Massive Main Event Finish

APT Incheon 2026 has turned its Main Event into one of the biggest poker stories in South Korea this year.

The tournament’s ₩1.5 billion guarantee was more than doubled, with 1,393 entries creating a final prize pool of approximately ₩3 billion.

The numbers are significant for the APT.

The 2025 Incheon Main Event had set the previous local record with 1,281 entries. This year’s tournament added 112 more entries, demonstrating continued growth for the Incheon stop.

It also puts APT Incheon behind only APT Jeju’s 1,718-entry Main Event among APT Main Events held in South Korea.

The buy-in remained at ₩2.5 million, making the tournament accessible to a much broader group of players than the festival’s high rollers.

That combination of a relatively accessible Main Event buy-in and a large guarantee appears to have produced a powerful response from the international poker community.

The final prize pool now stands at more than double the advertised guarantee.

For the eventual champion, the reward is not only the approximately $374,085 first prize, but also an APT Lion Trophy and a seat in the APT Championship.

APT Incheon has therefore moved beyond simply meeting expectations.

It has set a new benchmark for poker in Incheon.
