Jeju Produced the Tour’s First Champions
The inaugural Eden Awakens festival not only launched a new poker brand but also crowned the first champions in Gods of Poker history.
China’s Tian Zhi Kong captured the inaugural Main Event title after navigating a field of 481 entries, earning KRW 187.29 million and the first-ever Black-and-Gold GOP Gauntlet.
The festival also crowned winners in the Demigods Challenge, Super High Roller, Titan Stack High Roller, and GOP High Roller events, each receiving a uniquely designed gauntlet corresponding to the mythology-inspired theme of the series.
Taiwan’s Meng Ling Lin was named the inaugural Player of the Series, while Philippine professional Mike Takayama recorded seven cashes during the festival, including three tournament victories, highlighting the strong international participation in GOP’s first event.
